Samples of Student Projects
The Psychology of Amputation
In 2012, we ran a trial to see if student generated content could be used as learning objects. The quality of the work varied considerably, but a number of students submitted excellent work.
Nursing Clinical Evaluations
This application allows clinical supervisors in hospitals to input evaluation data for students using their mobile device. Field trials were set for Autumn semester 2011.
This application was developed as a proof of concept to allow academics with no programming skills to provide m-learning content. The content is added using a backend database. This prototype worked but lacked the interface to allow staff to easily enter content into the database. Five different templates were developed. It was adapted in the following project (Lecture Notes).
This application built on the previous prototype. A major improvement was adding the ability to annotate notes.
